I’m a southern girl who fell in love with a southern gentleman, and wanted to start a blog to keep our family and friends updated with our crazy lives! My name is Sarah Potter and my husband Ryan and I live in Ohio with our Bichon pup, Reese (like the candy)!

I grew up in South Carolina playing golf and learning how to be a southern lady. I was fortunate to receive a scholarship and an opportunity to play golf for Furman University in Greenville, SC where I met my husband, Ryan! You can read about how we met, our proposal, and wedding on the Wedding Page (still a work in progess). After my freshman year I transferred to the University of Alabama when my coach aka my Father in Law took a job there. I love everything Alabama! I moved to Birmingham after college while Ryan went to Ole Miss to pursue his career in coaching men’s golf. Absence certainly made our hearts grow fonder.

I have worked with a financial company since graduation in 2008 and I’ve met some amazing and inspiring professionals along the way. I was fortunate to transfer within the company when Ryan accepted a position with OSU in the summer of 2010 and that is where this blog begins! We have lived in the suburbs of Columbus, OH for a little over a year and a half and it is where we call home for our little family of 3!

I want this blog to be a journal for us and I hope you enjoy reading it. I’m a sweet tea fanatic, shopaholic, family loving southern girl trying to find the perfect balance in life.  I plan on documenting our daily adventures as new puppy parents and newlyweds and I am looking forward to seeing what this blog becomes and where it takes me!
